Final Construction Update

Construction work for the Wastewater System Improvements 2011 project has been completed for what was expected to get done this year.  In 2012, the following work will be completed:

  • Placement of the asphalt wearing course
  • Adjusting manholes to the surface
  • Seeding of boulevards along 3rdStreet
    • Please note that the boulevards along 3rd Street have only had mulch applied to the disturbed areas and was not seeded.  This was due to the late completion of the project.  It was decided that there would be a much better chance for a healthier turf established if seed were to be installed in 2012.  Mulch was applied to satisfy erosion and sediment control by the Contractor.  The areas to be seeded will be worked over to break up any chunks of soil.
  • Other miscellaneous minor punch list items.

Thank you for your patience and understanding throughout the project!
